On Friday 30 October we celebrated Halloween at school and it was fantastic!
We organised a parade and we had a great time.
Although the weather was awful, we enjoyed ourselves a lot and we are looking forward to next year´s celebration.

Coming Soon... A new Lester House production
Last Monday 28th September 5th and 6th form students started a film project. This project is directed by Andres López Scarone. The film is about a very special mouse because it is one of a kind. The mouse belongs to an animal organization that protects animals , but one day it escaped. The organization was trying to find it when... an animal collector and a group of bad guys appeared. This collector has all the kinds of animals in the world except for the mouse. So everybody will try to find it.
What will happen? Who will find it? The collector or the organization? Wait and see...

The English festival and the previous feelings

I'm a 6th Form student and I took part in the English festival. This year was the last time I was going to be on a stage with the Lester House school. This year we had to perform a group of young men and women who entertain young children... HI-5 !!!! At the beginning I wasn't happy at all with the teacher's choice. I thought that we had to do something more serious in view of the fact that it was our last year. But after selecting our songs and episodes and rehearsing them I started to change my mind about the teacher's decision. In each rehearsal I got more nervous about the festival , but in the end it was great!!!!
Previous days
Hi!!! I'm a 6th Form student. I'm new in the school. I had never taken part in an English Festival before. I was very nervous, but day after day I understood it more and more. I took part in 6 songs and in one part I had to talk. Then I had to dance YMCA with the rest of the students. The days of the rehearsal were great sometimes, but sometimes it was a little bit boring to wait for the other students. But in three words I'm going to say it all: I LOVE DANCING!!! That´s why I think it was amazing!
I would like to go back in time to do it again.
The days before the Festival

The days before the festival I was very anxious, excited and nervous about what could happen on stage. Although I was only going to take part in Hi-5, it was quite hard for me to dance and and pronounce the words I had to say correctly. From the outside the rehearsal looked very disorganized but we, the actors, knew that it was very complex. But after all I wasn't so nervous because as Hugo said last year: if the play is excellent everybody claps, if the play is good everybody claps and if the play is a disaster everybody claps as well.
